Junior Java Developer

Full Time – Villach, Austria

XEOX is looking for a Java Developer with experience in building high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications.

You will be part of a talented software team that works on mission-critical applications. Java developer roles and responsibilities include managing Java/Java EE application development while providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing.

Java developer responsibilities include designing, developing and delivering high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
  • Write well designed, testable, efficient code
  • Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
  • Prepare and produce releases of software components
  • Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review


Requirements

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
  • Proven hands-on Software Development experience
  • Proven working experience in Java development
  • Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms
  • Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
  • Profound insight of Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc)
  • Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
  • Experience in the Spring Framework
  • Experience with test-driven development

Sales Manager

Full Time – Vienna, Austria

XEOX is looking for a high-performing Sales Manager to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those to plans to the upper management.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure it’s strong presence
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status

Customer Support

Full Time – Diverse Locations

XEOX is looking for a Customer Support Specialist to assist our customers with technical problems when using our products and services.

Customer Support Specialist responsibilities include resolving customer queries, recommending solutions and guiding product users through features and functionalities. To be successful in this role, you should be an excellent communicator who’s able to earn our clients’ trust. You should also be familiar with help desk software.

Ultimately, you will help establish our reputation as a company that offers excellent customer support during all sales and after-sales procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer queries in a timely and accurate way, via phone, email or chat
  • Identify customer needs and help customers use specific features
  • Analyze and report product malfunctions (for example, by testing different scenarios or impersonating users)
  • Monitor customer complaints on social media and reach out to provide assistance
  • Inform customers about new features and functionalities
  • Follow up with customers to ensure their technical issues are resolved
  • Gather customer feedback and share with our Product, Sales and Marketing teams

 

Requirements

  • Experience as a Customer Support Specialist or similar CS role

Front-End Web Developer

Full Time – Villach, Austria

XEOX is looking for a motivated Front-End Web Developer to join our growing marketing team. You will be accountable for building and maintaining a highly performant and localized web experience, and will ensure that XEOX has world class web content, SEO, and conversion rate optimization.

As XEOX’s Front-End Web Developer you’ll constantly optimize the user experience of www.xeox.com and improve business metrics for user acquisition and engagement. You’ll have the opportunity to work on strategy, execution, and analysis, and roll out new experiments frequently.

We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of WordPress. You’ve built your own themes and plugins before and you’re up-to-date with the latest and greatest trends and technologies. You enjoy exploring and building web experiences that push the envelope.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience building websites as a front-end developer
  • Strong front-end development skills. You write high quality and well-documented HTML, CSS, and Javascript. You are comfortable enough with PHP to manage a WordPress instance.
  • Experience building and maintaining multi-language websites (must-have)
    Experience building sites using content management systems, preferably on WordPress
  • Ability to develop and manage project schedules and prioritize and meet multiple large- and small-scale project deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong experience with responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility
  • Knowledge of design principles and best practices
  • Self-motivated and scrappy – you know what needs to be done and you take initiative
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical people
  • Fluent English speaker
